I'm an elementary and special education teacher licensed in New York. I have master's degrees in public administration and in special education. I worked with everyone from infants to high school seniors as a special education instructor. As a tutor, I break down concepts in ways that are easier to understand. I focus on keeping students engaged by utilizing my sense of humor and by encouraging a relaxed and focused environment to work through topics that students have difficulty with. I try multiple different approaches to see what works for student. Every student learns differently, so we need to find the best way to teach to them. I can tutor students in algebra, English, history, business, essay writing, reading, government, and more. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music, traveling, and sports.
